LOVELY LACE THANK YOU CARD

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Why is it that when Wednesday rolls around I'm already ready for the weekend? I love what I do at my real job, but I've been doing it for about 35 years. I'm looking forward to being able to spend full time stamping. Since becoming a demonstrator 4 years ago, I have had so much fun not only stamping, but meeting so many beautiful friends. You are all the Best! Every time I sit at my computer to post, I'm grateful for all you, my stamping friends! Thanks for being here!

Well, I didn't mean to go on, but it just hit me, how I needed to tell you all, how grateful I am for each one of you!

I'm sharing the Lovely Lace Thank You card today. I love the simplicity of this card. And anyone from beginners to advanced will have fun creating this one. I hope you like it! I needed Thank You cards, so I actually made several colors of the same card.

You will notice, I also made some general cards using the same layout. I used the Layering Love Stamp Set. , The Live, Laugh., Love is such a great sentiment for a general card. For the Thank You cards, I used the All Things Thanks. I again used the Stitched Shapes Framelits (which I'm hooked on right now) and the Layering Circles.

THANK YOU ALL FOR STOPPING BY!

HAVE A WONDERFUL REST OF THE WEEK!

WATERCOLORING ON CRUMB CAKE CARDSTOCK

Hello Stampers!

I have been seeing a lot of techniques using your colored pencils on Kraft or Crumb Cake Cardstock. It seems to be a trend. So I decide to try it with my watercolor pencils and taking it a step further. I decided to add a little water using my aqua pen to the colored areas. And WOW, these colors just popped! It looks so pretty! I created a 3" x 3" card set using this technique. Let me know what you think! I'm loving this technique. Try it you'll like it! :)

I used the So In Love Stamp Set and the Border is from the Delicate Details Stamp Set, which is FREE choice with a $50.00 purchase during Sale-a-bration. I embossed the Flower and the Lace border using White Stampin' Emboss powder. You can see the intensity of the colors. I was really surprised how beautiful it looked on Crumb Cake Cardstock. I will be using this technique a whole more for sure! I plan on making a coordinating box for these and I will have a little gift ready to give!

Now it's your turn! Like my Facebook Page and Share your take on this technique there. I love seeing what you come up with!

These cards are 3" x 3". So use a 6" x 3" piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock and Score at 3".
