A True Friend Gift Box

Hi Everyone!
         So, It's Hump Day again! Yeah! I hope you are all having a great week. I have been thinking how I was going to do this  box for a week now and I am so happy on how it turned out! I have a co-worker who is having a birthday this week, so I wanted to make her a little gift! I was inspired by a box I saw that was a svg cut. But I wanted to figure out how to do it without having to use a machine to cut it out! This is what I came up with. Now, you can't see the inside in this picture, but I will do a video and post it later. Doing a video takes some time. So doing it on the weekday is difficult, since I have a full time job. But, I will try to get it done over the weekend!

Stampin'Up Valentine Nugget Treat Box Video

Hi Everyone!
                Happy Sunday to you all! As promised I am sharing the video for the Valentine Nugget Box with you! I am going to post the measurements again to make sure you get them all. I found out sometimes if you view on your phone, you cannot see the measurements I put in the video. So here are the measurements again.

Cut the brushed gold cardstock at 7 1/4" x 5 "
Score each side of the cardstock at 1/2" and 1 1/4"
For the Sleeve you need to cut the window sheet at 7 3/4" x 5 "
Score at 3/4", 3 1/2", 4 1/4" and 7"
Finally for the polka dot parade I used to cover the nuggets, you need 1" x 3" designer series paper

Stampin'Up Valentine Nugget Box

Ciao Everyone!
                     I am sharing a Valentine Nugget Box I made today! I know many of you have probably seen these nugget boxes around, but I wanted to make one using the window sheet by Stampin'Up. I like that you can see the candy inside. So her is one that I made. I am using the Polka Dot Parade DSP(my Favorite). The little love banner and punch are two of the freebies from SALE-A-BRATION! (going on now thru March 31st). I really love this stamp set. It has 7 different banners and three other stamps in it. A small heart, star, and flower. Very Cute!

I dressed the box up using the Brushed Gold Cardstock from Stampin'Up. Its is more elegant than just using the regular cardstock. A packaging more for an adult than a child. I love how it turned out. I am always trying to make something for co-workers or girlfriends or teachers and this is great for that!

I also used the That's the Ticket Stamp Set. Wrapped it in a Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon. I will do a video on this box and post it later. It makes a cute little gift. It also is pretty quick to make.

Stampin'Up Simply Soap Box II (larger version)

Happy Sunday Everyone!
                       How are all my stamping friends today? I am enjoying this fine cold day in Texas! I will be doing a lot of crafting today I hope! Not only is it cold here, but since its Super Bowl Sunday, my hubby will be watching the game! So I will be in my craft room having some fun! I am just not into football! I would rather be crafting! Its funny because my 88 year old Mom is a football nut! She knows stats and everything! I just can't relate! My son played football from 6 years old through high school and that is as far as I went! I loved to watch him play, but that is it! I know a lot of women who love it too! Oh well, Onto my project! This is the larger soap box, which was created by request from some ladies who asked me to make a larger box to fit their larger homemade soap bars. So here you are ladies! :)

Stampin'Up Grateful There's You Valentine Card

Hi Everyone!
        Today I will share another valentine card I made. I wanted to make one for my granddaughters that was a little bit more appealing to a younger person. So this is the one I came up with. I hope you like it. The way I did this is to cut my card stock to the size I wanted it and then cut the banner edge by hand. The top layer is cut a little shorter than the back, so that you can see the designer series paper underneath. I like the look it gave the card.

I have been dying to use the petite petals stamp set on a card and I really love this little flower. This stamp set has several different flowers to choose from. Plus, You know how I love when they have coordinating punches. It makes your life so much easier! LOVE IT!!!
