BACK TO BASICS STAMPIN'UP STYLE PART ONE

Hello Friends!

I know I usually don't post on Friday's, but today I will be starting the Back to Basic Video Series Stampin'Up Style! This first video is very Basic, I go over Types of Stamps and different types of paper you can use for making cards and 3-d projects. I'm hoping to keep the video's short, not to overwhelm you with so much at once. Especially for you who are beginning stampers.

In the first few videos, I will be going over mostly supplies need to create a beautiful card, worthy of gift giving. As we move on, I will get into basic card making, techniques and some simple 3-d projects. I hope you enjoy the series.

NOTE: I may not be doing a video every week. I may just post on my blog here,a simple card with instructions and maybe a pdf.

Birthday Bouquet Sending Smiles Card

Hello Everyone!

It's Once again Wednesday! How is everyone this fine day? I'm sharing a card, that I cased out of the Occasions Catalog. I did change the sentiment. One thing about Stampin'Up catalogs is that it's full of great ideas. I will be casing more cards and posting them, because I sometimes get someone asking how to make a card or 3-d project. Hope you enjoy the card. I love this stamp set and designer series paper. Great combination!

Isn't this dsp pretty? If you saw my catalog tour, you heard me say, This will be very popular this year. Also the sentiment! I really like when it looks hand written.

Instructions:

This is a Basic 4/14" x 5 1/2" Card Base layered with the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.

I fussy cut another rose out of the dsp and placed it with dimensionals left of the sentiment.

Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 3 1/2" x 1 1/8" and stamped three times with sending smiles.

Punched two grooves in each side of whisper white cardstock to hold linen thread and tied a bow.

Added a metallic doily under sentiment and attach the whole piece with dimensionals.

The dimension on this card is really nice. It's hard to really tell in the picture.

MY VALENTINE DOUBLE TREAT BOX

Hello My Friends,

How is everyone this beautiful day? Today, this box was inspired by a Stampin'Up Die they had several years ago. My upline Angie made a box similar to this one, which I loved. I never got the die. so I decided I was going to try to make one on my own. Now, it's not exactly the same, but I really like the way it turned out. It reminds me of a milk carrier we had as kids. (hmmm! Showing my age again!) Hope you like it!
