LIFE IS A BEAUTIFUL THING BOOKMARKS

Hi Stamping Friends!

Guess What I got today? It's staring me in the face, but I'm not opening it until I finish this post! I have you know it's killing me! You come FIRST! :)

It's not a Card or 3-d Project today, But a Bookmark! I absolutely love this Colorful Season Stamp Set! If there is a Set you MUST have it's This One! It has every Season in this Set and the Sentiments are just beautiful. It is part of a Bundle, with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. I'm using the Color Theory designer series paper Stack.




These are so Quick & Easy to make. The Color Theory dsp Stack is what makes these Bookmarks so Quick. This would be great to add when giving a book as a gift or even as a small thinking of you gift.

BIRTHDAY BUBBLE GUM PARTY FAVOR

I'm really excited to share the projects I have for you. Especially the Friday Spotlight coming this Friday! I thought the project I'm sharing came out so cute! I used the Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper. You will see in the video, How great this paper is!

SPOTLIGHT FRIDAY BACKGROUND TECHNIQUE

Hi Friends!

How was every one's week? It went so fast for me! Everyday a new adventure! But Life is Good! I hope you all had a Great one. Today's Spotlight Friday is a Technique Background.I used Stampin'Up Ink Pads and a Craft Mat for this technique. One thing to remember with this technique is to fully dry your background before stamping on it. On the first card I show, I didn't thoroughly dry it and when I stamped a small area didn't stamp well. So you can speed up your drying time by using the Heat Tool as I do in  the video. It works really well.

As you can see, you get a different look each time. I will tell you that if you just set your paper on top of the ink, you will get more of a look like the one on the right. If you drag your paper across you will get a look more like the one on the left.  Try it, this technique is really fun to do and experiment with different colors. It's a fun technique to try!


Measurements for the Tempting Turquoise Card Base is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
The Blushing Bride is 5 1/4" x 4".
The Stamped Whisper White piece is 3 3/4" x 5".

SPOTLIGHT FRIDAY WATERCOLORED ROSE TECHNIQUE

Hello Stamping Friends!

Yes! I know it is Saturday. I didn't post the spotlight Friday video yesterday, because I had a very important date to keep. My little grandson's first baseball game! So worth the Day off! (LOVE)

So proud of this guy, He won the Home Run Derby! Most Hits out of the park! Check out the Ring! Lol! :)




On with the Spotlight Friday Watercolored Rose Technique. I don't want to forget about the Rose Wonder stamp set, It's such a great one. This tutorial will show how to Quickly Color a Image using a Watercolor technique. Hope you enjoy it!




These are the two different cards I made. You can see each is unique. The one on the right I actually decide to put Wink of Stella on it. Picture's never do it justice, but it is really pretty! This is a Super Easy way to get that popular watercolor look!

The Card Base is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4".
The Whisper White Stamp Piece is 51/4" x 4".
