Flowering Flourishes Stampin'Up Birthday Card

Well, Its Wednesday Again! Today I have a Birthday card to share with you! Again I am using some of the new products from the New 2013-2014 catalog! I used a different technique with this card. I actually stamped on regular Whisper White cardstock, scanned it into my computer and printed on a piece of Ink Jet transparency! I love this look! You can also use StazOn ink and stamp right onto the Stampin'up window sheet. The results are very elegant looking.

I don't know if you can actually see the transparency, but trust me its really pretty. You will have to try it! Everything is Stampin'Up except for the brads and ribbon.  Stampin'Up just came out with some awesome new brads in every color! They are called Candy Dots #132293 which is the base and the Candy Dots in all the Stampin'Up colors!

Supplies Used:
  • Morning Meadow Stamp Set 129678
  • Flowering Flourishes Stamp Set 126367
  • Coastal Cabana Cardstock 131297
  • Basic Black Cardstock 121045
  • Whisper White Cardstock 100730
  • Corner Rounder 119871
  • Classic Stampin' pad Basic Black 126980
So, I hope you try this technique yourself! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  4. Stamp the Happy Birthday to you! with Bermuda Bay Ink on Whisper White cardstock and punch out with the Artisan label punch.
  5. Add Label with dimentionals on top of  you stamped flowers, they should peek out from behind the Happy Birthday label.
  6. Run your embosslits beautiful wings through the Big Shot and place a small butterfly on the label. Add Basic Pearls.
  7. Run your Hearts A Flutter Banner through the Big Shot and place under the center front .Glue.
  8. Use the White Gel pen to add dots along the edge, in each scallop.
  9. Add goodies.
  10. To seal the bag, I stapled the bag to the back half of the handle and added glue dots to the front to close. So you don't see the staples.

TWO TAGS MOTHERS DAY BOX

Hi Everyone today I wanted to show you a cute Two Tags Die Box. It would be perfect for a cute Mothers Day Treat! Just add a few treats for her special day! I will show you how I made this.

Supplies:
  • Two Tags Bigz Die #115954
  • More Amore DSP #129309
  • Real Red Cardstock #102482
  • Extra Large Fancy Flower Punch #118073
  • 1/16 Circle Handheld Punch #101227
  • Mini Brads #122941
  • Sticky Strip #104294
Look for some of these items on the RETIRED STAMP LIST, I know the Tags Two Bigz Die is being retired, so get it while you can! I love this die and I will miss it very much!

Here are the steps:
Die cut two large tags from Tags Two Die with More Amore DSP or paper of your choice. Fold on score lines and adhere the bottoms of both tags together.
Cut a piece of Real Red Cardstock 2 3/4 x 6 3/4 for the sides of the box. Score @ 1/2" on the long sides and score @ 2" on the short side. Cut the center score lines up to the 1/2" score line. Apply Sticky Strip to the side flaps. Fold up to form the frame of the box. Adhere tags to box frame.
Cut a piece of Real Red Cardstock 1/2" x 81/2" for the handle. Put handle in to slit on side of tag, You can make a 1/16th hole to match up with the hole in the tag and add a mini brad to hold in place. On the other side punch 3 Extra Large Fancy Flowers. 2 in Real Red and 1 in More Amore DSP. I mist the flowers to soften the paper and crinkle each flower. Punch a 1/16th hole in each flowers center. Add a mini brad in the center and attach to the other side of the handle. You can add your own embellishments if you like.
This is another version using the same More Amore Designer paper, different print of course!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Remember to check out the retired list for some of these products!
HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!!
